'Konji' Matters: Police officer in soup for receiving sex as bribe:

A Japanese police sergeant, Yoshitaka Nakanishi, has been arrested on charges of bribery after he let an accused walk free in exchange for sex with a prostitute.
According to the police, Nakanishi had arrested an offending taxi driver who was speeding and driving without a licence who had caused an accident. The offender turned out to be the manager of a local brothel and when Nakanishi arrived the scene to arrest him, the offender, Ryo Hori offered him sex with one of his girls and the officer accepted and let him go.
Nakanishi went further to file false documents indicating that one of the male employees of Hori was driving the vehicle. Nakanishi has admitted to covering up the role of Hori in the accident.
Just before the suspect’s vehicle crashed into a wall, the sergeant had been pursuing him for exceeding the legal speed limit. Several days after the incident, Hori provided Nakanishi with a cash payment and sex with prostitute. The sergeant faces charges of bribery and filing a false police report.
