Arsenal are reportedly considering using Laurent Koscielny as a makeweight to complete the transfer of Real Madrid's Karim Benzema.
It appears Rafael Benitez will take charge of the Spanish giants after Carlo Ancelotti's departure, and he is apparently keen on Gunners defender Koscielny, according to reports.
With Arsene Wenger reportedly lining up an offer for Benzema, Koscielny could be used as a means to completing a deal for the French striker.
Gunners boss Wenger is desperate to strengthen his attacking options ahead of next season, where his side will look to compete for the Premier League title.
