Redesigned Instagram Website Puts The Spotlight On Photos
Instagram is in the process of rolling out a major redesign for its website on desktop and mobile. The new look is all about putting the spotlight on photos which are obviously crucial to Instagram. The updated Instagram website makes the most major change to profile pages on the desktop which will now start to display three large images in each row instead of the five smaller images in each row that it currently displays.
The redesigned Instagram website makes it much more cleaner overall and attracts users attention more towards the photos than anything else, which certainly makes a lot of sense.
It has done away with the grid of cover images that were previously displayed at the top, many of the rounded edges and borders are also on the chopping block. Circular profile pics are in though which might please some people.
Instagram's new layout will spread across profile pages to hashtag pages too, same design changes will also be evident on mobile profiles and the desktop feed.
The company has said that it's going to roll out this new design to pages starting today, all of its users should expect to get the redesigned website by the end of this week.
