Buhari 'President should stop waiting for Tinubu to choose his ministers,’ Bode George says

President Muhammadu Buhari

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Bode George has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to make haste in choosing his ministers and stop waiting for the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu to tell him what to do.
George also stated that Tinubu had been given a “political circumcision” as a result of the National Assembly leadership crisis which recently rocked the APC.
The PDP chieftain made the comments during a recent interview with Punch.
“I am not a member of the APC but I will like to remind the President that time is running out. He needs to get back to doing things quickly. Time is of essence and Nigerians are waiting,”George said when asked his opinion on Buhari’s delayed ministerial list.
“…I will advise him to make appointments as quickly as possible. The Senate has settled down and he should send the nominees to the Senate for approval and stop waiting for people like our man who has just been circumcised politically to decide who gets what,” George added.
The Presidency has blamed the delay in cabinet appointments to the late presentation of handover notes to Buhari by former President, Goodluck Jonathan.
