Mixed reactions have trailed President Muhammadu Buharistatement, referring to the chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel, as “President Michelle” of “West Germany”.
Buhari, who after spoke the meeting of the Lake Chad Basin Commission on Thursday, June 11, the President had referred to “the G7 meeting in West Germany” and “consultations with President Michelle.”
Many on Social media, especially Twitter, have however backlashed him for such a costly error.
